    About Rachel L.

    Rachel LaRocca is a violinist and Music Education major at Kennesaw State University. She is currently student teaching at Johns Creek High School under the direction of Mr. Young Kim. She will graduate in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She was a member of the KSU Symphony Orchestra and studied privately with Kenn Wagner of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for 4 years during her undergrad. A 2014 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, Miss LaRocca served as concertmaster of her school orchestra as well as the Fayette Philharmonic Orchestra. She has taught private violin lessons for six years and also works as a violin clinician at the high school and middle school level. Miss LaRocca taught with the KSU String Project for three years as a beginning string teacher. She is a collegiate member of the Georgia Music Educators Association, the American String Teachers Association, and the National Association for Music Educators. "I will always treat my students how I would like to be treated; with kindness, maturity, and respect. I hope to bring up students who are passionate, kind, respectful, and full of integrity.
