Piano with Rachel L.

With over 19 years of musical study, Rachel Lonetti approaches instruction with the desire to discover and refine the innate musicality everyone is born with. An avid lover of several different genres of music, she desires to spread her passion of the art through teaching it to others. Rachel is currently a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association), MMTA (Minnesota Music Teachers Association) and The Saint Paul Piano Teachers Association. Mrs. Lonetti has studied piano and pedagogy at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, under both Phyllis Lehrer and Ingrid Clarfield. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Music under Dr. Roger McVey at UW-River Falls. During her time at UW-River Falls, she accompanied both the UW-River Falls Men's and Women's Choirs, participated in the UW-River Falls Jazz band, as well as coached and accompanied collegiate vocal students. Rachel has performed in prestigious concert venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Princeton University Chapel, and Orchestra Hall . As a chorus member of the Minnesota Chorale (the principal chorus of the Minnesota Orchestra), Rachel has performed under the baton of world-renown conductors such as Osmo Vanska and Andrew Litton. An active member of her church, Rachel also regularly accompanies services at her home church Beacon of Hope, and utilizes her vocal and piano talents at other churches in the Twin Cities area. Rachel currently resides in Stillwater, MN with her husband Joseph, and children Charlotte and Dominic.
