Creative Writing with Rachel L.

I am currently a marketing executive who loves to write on the side. I enjoy writing anything from poems to song lyrics to short stories to graphic novels. My favorite genres include superheroes, psychological, family dynamics, etc. But of course, I am not limited to those. Other than writing, my creativity extends into singing, playing guitar and ukulele, and sketching/drawing. Though I am fresh out of college with a B.A. in Creative Writing, I have taught students of various ages and experience levels. I've taught reading comprehension to elementary school students and essay writing to high school and college students. I have the ability to pinpoint where my students struggle whether it is in grammar or an element of writing. Not only do I teach them how to improve in these areas, but I also teach them how to develop their own style of writing and keep their own individuality shining through their work. I am all about positivity, encouragement, and making sure my students are given the writing skills they need to succeed!
