Passes and Lessons Scholarship Program

A program run through the Aspen Music Festival and School that selects local students ranging from elementary school through highschool through a competitive audition to study with and shadow an Aspen Music Festival and School student.

Roaring Fork Valley Lesson Program

A program run through the Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS) that partners select AMFS student's with community members of all levels to teach lessons on specific instruments.

Mensa, the high IQ society, provides a forum for intellectual exchange among its members. There are members in more than 100 countries around the world. Activities include the exchange of ideas through lectures, discussions, journals, special-interest groups, and local, regional, national and international gatherings; the investigations of members' opinions and attitudes; and assistance to researchers, inside and outside Mensa, in projects dealing with intelligence or Mensa.

The National Flute Association, founded in 1972, is the largest flute organization in the world. Approximately 5,000 members from more than 50 countries join together in person, online, at conventions, informally and in forums, through publications and classrooms, in performance, in friendship and collegiality. Guided by its goals to encourage a higher standard of artistic excellence for the flute, its performers, and its literature, members include leading soloists, orchestral players, jazz and world music performers, teachers, adult amateurs, and students of all ages.
