I started taking traditional piano lessons when I was four years old and I loved it! My family moved a lot, however, and my parents couldn't always keep up with the cost of private instruction. Because of this, I often learned by continuing to practice traditional piano techniques while learning new things on my own. To this day, I teach a blend of traditional piano as well as techniques for exploring the instrument and creating sounds for pop and contemporary piano. I try to take advantage of games, apps, and other tools wherever possible!

I am a professional musician and teaching artist currently based in Asheville, NC. I most enjoy teaching pop and musical theater voice employing my degrees in vocal performance and training in vocal sciences. I believe in helping every student find their musical and artistic potential.
