Piano with Rachel H.

Dr. Rachel H. received her doctorate in horn performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Primary teachers include Randy Gardner, Liz Freimuth, Duane Dugger and Tom Sherwood While in the midwest, Rachel performed with the Richmond (IN), Evansville, Kentucky, Lima, Ohio Valley, Blue Ash/Montgomery and Columbus (OH) symphonies, Orchestra Kentucky, and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. Since relocating to Los Angeles, she has performed with the Santa Barbara Symphony and numerous other ensembles. Rachel taught brass instruments and piano for seven years throughout the state of Virginia. While in Cincinnati, Rachel was the horn teacher of the Milford Exempted Village Schools, and held Teaching Assistantships at CCM in the music theory department and the horn studio. She now teaches horn and other brass students at Harvard Westlake Middle School in Beverly Hills, Lawrence Middle School in Chatsworth, and out of her home studio.
