About Rachel G.
I am a professional cellist and pianist. I graduated from Andrews University with a Bachelors of Music/concentration cello and a Bachelors of Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I am currently in the Chicago area to attend graduate school at Northwestern University.
Cello/Piano students can expect to conquer difficult techniques in these instruments while developing a love for music that can only be garnered by playing these beautiful instruments.
I teach piano and cello students of all different ages and beginner to intermediate levels. I have studied classical piano and cello for what seems like my entire life. I have been privileged to serve as music director for multiple places of worship and this influences my experience with music greatly. I can teach students to read music and pursue classical finesse or to learn how to play traditional church music.
I look forward to meeting you!
