I began my journey in "La Bella Lingua" (The Beautiful Language) at a junior college, taking all the courses they had to offer and excelling in them because they were so enjoyable and I had a knack for understanding language. I continued my journey to the University of California at Davis, earning a B.A. in Italian and a minor in Linguistics, but not before spending 9 months in Italy studying the language, enjoying the culture, and conversing with the locals. You might most be interested in the fact that I tutored for a year at UC Davis and received an honorary prize for the work I contributed to helping the students. Currently I'm working on developing myself as a freelance translator, and it would be my pleasure to construct a lesson plan that works for your goals and grows your interest and understanding of this charming language.
