I am a professional music teacher with a degree in Vocal Performance from Vanguard University of Southern California. I've had the privilege of peforming both in the U.S. and internationally, f om China to Carnegie Hall. Though musical theater is my personal forte, I love all types of music. I strongly believe in rewards based learning. During our first lesson, we will ascertain what the student's goals are as well as their favorite genres. I will assign them a song and ask that they choose a song the would enjoy practicing. As the student progresses, I will encourage them to use their abilities to perform whenever the can, though this is not mandatory. As every student is different and has different leaning styles and abilities, I will adjust my teaching style to make sue the are having fun and leaning as quickly as possible!
