Piano

Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Music is a gift and it should be fun to learn! In my teaching, I incorporate the FUNdamentals of music theory, which allows the student to take their learning farther. Haven't you always wanted to just "sit down at the piano and play" without having to have a piece of music in front of you"? That starts with theory! In addition, I enjoy teaching improvisation and song writing - all tailored for each individual student - in addition to a focus on good technique and building your repertoire.

Vocal Training · In home

My granddaughter took piano and vocals from Rachel for two years. She took lessons at the school first and then at the home studio. The lessons were always Olivia's favorite. She felt loved and encouraged. Olivia was never afraid to try something. The recital was so special and felt professional. Wish we could drive to Marin each week to continue!
