Believer in Jesus Christ, Licensed Cosmetologist, and published author, Robyn Raimey, is a sucker for love. Her foundation of faith and humanitarianism is what’s fueled her passion in the service industry. She has, from the womb, been exposed to the Arts and to the Christian church. She attributes the development of her gifts and talents to a family full of strong educators, counselors, preachers, singers, musicians, and prayer warriors. This infrastructure is what began her quest to be purposeful in the earth. The beauty industry became the first vehicle. Robyn has developed strong cosmetics skills that include, braiding, hair extensions, natural and chemical treatment and hair care, barbering, and loc care. She used her expertise in all phases of hair care, to become proprietor and operator of R. Lynn and Company, LLC, under which she’s trained 8 beauty professionals as of 2020. She’s provided private, ongoing and group instruction to customers both locally and nationally in 6 states. She received her cosmetology education from both Oakland Technical Center through Ferndale Public Schools in Berkley, MI and Creative College of Cosmetology in Warren, MI and is currently licensed in the State of Michigan. She continues to educate herself through industry training (both formal and informal). Robyn is always learning! In fact a passion for learning has encouraged her to actively pursue a degree in the Education Field. In addition to her 22 year career in the Beauty Industry, this hair maven is a worship leader. She’s been afforded the opportunity to train and get experience under local, national, and international award winning composers, musicians, church affiliations, and performers for more than 20 years. In 2020 her interest in music and natural gift for writing led her to becoming both a published author and songwriter in the same year. As a vocal musician she is currently a worship team member at her local church and abroad. A heart of compassion coupled with her gifts including that of an Administrative Mental Health Professional since 2000, specific to Customer Service, is what she is using to empower those who she's been assigned by God to reach. Through the vehicles of educational workshops, public speaking, volunteer opportunities, partnerships with other businesses and organizations, and the furthering of her formal education, she hopes to build an organization that will provide a unique, full, and quality service for years to come. Each opportunity an occasion for expansion and growth.
