Hello! my name is Quinton and im a jazz guitarist and music instructor operating out of Baltimore, MD. Groups and ensembles i've performed with include the AACC small jazz combo as well as my own trio who has played at numerous locations across Maryland including Fort Meade, 49 west, and numerous small festivals. My teaching experience includes one on one lessons as well as classroom setting both with the focus being guitar instruction. Apart from teaching im a pretty good student receiving a solid 4.0 in all music-theory and musicianship classes i attended at my two year stay at AACC before my move to Towson to pursue my bachelors in Music ed. Ive studied under the likes of John Lee, Dave Sanders, and Ian Wardenski and have acquired exceptional knowledge about the ins and outs of Guitar as well as a broad knowledge harmony. My primary focus being jazz/commercial for school but im no stranger to other genres such as rock, pop, alternative, emo, and more

    Middle School Guitar Class Aid

    Aug, 2016 - Mar, 2018

    Severna Park Middle School

I was an aid for a guitar class helping students with advanced techniques and letting them participate in mock master classes where i could teach them intermediate techniques on the instrument you wouldn't normally learn in public school.
