I'm a professional upright and electric bass player from Bloomington, Indiana, currently residing in New Orleans. I've taught both privately and at schools for many years and am happy to teach all styles of music and students of all levels of ability. My performing experience includes playing alongside jazz legends Bobby McFerrin and Randy Brecker among others. I've also played countless gigs in styles including rock, funk, hip-hop, folk, classical, Latin and more. My teaching philosophy is that every student should be able to learn the music that they want to learn at a pace that is appropriate and fun. I'm happy to teach both upright and electric bass for any musical style, and strive to create a fun and laid back learning experience for my students while still pushing them to reach their full potential.
