Piano with Qianni Y.

Qianni Yang, who comes from China, currently is a DMA Candidate in Ohio State University, majoring in piano performance. She started to learn the piano since six. She obtained the bachelor’s degree in Wuhan Conservatory, which is one of the most famous nine conservatories in China. She was a recipient of the 2nd Awarded Class Scholarship for the academic year 2013 and one of Judges in Piano Level Test of Music Association of China, Changsha. After graduated, she went to Boston University for her Master degree of Music, under the guidance of Professor Gila Goldstein, and at the same time she taught piano in Winship Elementary School in Boston as a piano teacher. During these years, she had many recitals including the solo, chamber, and concerto recitals. Besides, she was the first prize winner of the American Protege International Competition in 2017 and gave her debut in Carnegie Hall at the same year.
