I am a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer, dance fitness pro and artistic director who took core training in the Bollywood industry in India with some well-known choreographers. I graduated from Mumbai University with a Minor in Dance -Drama. Teaching in Bombay at first for 15 years, I then took my training off-shore to New Zealand and then brought to the USA. I've been vetted by county recreational centers as well as employee gyms of corporate HQs Cisco, Lenovo etc. where I coach members, along with taking workshops at county schools. colleges & public attractions & festivals. Dance students can expect to improve week to week in their technique, co-ordination, musicality, expression and confidence. I help students apply foundational techniques to unlock the patterns of each dance move and then put it all together. I can help any student to dance with enjoyment. I teach students of all different ages and experience levels, and diverse nationalities. I studied classical and Indian folk dance for 8 years & western jazz-hiphop for 4. My personal passion is Bollywood dance but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any style. I love to mentor students who want to become effective, dynamic dancers. I can teach students to perform simple or complex steps/pursue excellence, to dance in any setting, social or performance, depending on their goals and preferences. I have my own channel featuring my students works, with over 500 dance videos and 400,000 views. We have carried out 100+ projects in performance/choreography since 2013 in the southeast. My dance students have appeared on national/satellite TV in and musical theatre in Mumbai, Dubai, New Zealand, and in the U.S. I have helped them win school/college/community competitions.
