I have been teaching professionally for the past 15 years, specializing in elementary education across all subjects with a focus on reading, writing and math for grades Pre-k thru 5. Lessons are customized to meet your child's specific needs/goals. As an elementary student, I struggled to learn to read and receiving AIS support was life changing for me. It was the beginning of my love for learning and it was then that I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I have been teaching in the Bronx with classrooms as large as 32 students and have seen many students struggle as a result of being behind grade level. Tutoring can be so beneficial and can really make a huge difference in a student's love for learning and self confidence. I truly believe all students can have great success with the right help and I would love the opportunity to play a part in that. Let's get started!
