Basic Math with Priscilla R.

Hello I am Priscilla! I am currently an Algebra teacher as well as tutoring kids of all ages ranging from elementary age to high school. I have my Bachelor's degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Architectural Engineering and have plenty of experience with Math! I have taken such courses as Calculus I-IV and Linear Algebra. I also have experience teaching and tutoring in small group settings primarily with high school aged students. I am currently enrolled in a teaching credential program to receive my Single Subject Credential in Mathematics as well as a Master's in Education. I love working with young minds as they are filled with tons of motivation and great ideas that will help mold our future! Growing up, I have always had a well built understanding of various math concepts. So much so, that I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree in Engineering. Throughout this program I was able to complete such courses as Calculus I-IV, Physics, Dynamics and other applied math classes. I have a few years of experience teaching and tutoring students subjects ranging from Elementary school math all the way up to Pre-Calculus. I recently passed the Subtests for Mathematics for the CSET (a test that ensures teacher candidates have proper subject matter knowledge of the subject they wish to teach) on the first try. I am very comfortable with the math concepts that are taught in today's education system. I love pursuing my education and helping others accomplish their goals.
