Guitarist and Composer based in Southern California, with a Masters in Jazz Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Studies from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. I have played in a variety of musical groups ranging from rock bands, to samba bands, jazz/fusion, and 20th century Classical/improvised music. I have been an adjunct private lesson instructor for jazz and pop guitar at NYU for two years and regularly teach my own studio of private lessons. I pay attention to each students' needs, and develop lessons that are specifically tailored to each students' strengths and weaknesses to create a positive and inspiring experience.

Wit's understanding and non-dogmatic teaching style made classes high-quality and stress-free. Remote instruction was deeply engaging, which I wasn't expecting as someone who is used to in-person music classes. I definitely learned more than I have in any other guitar class. I especially appreciated that class felt like a discussion rather than a recital. Instead of following one method or theme, I was encouraged to completely shift our attention at any time if there was anything I was curious about. Wit presents difficult ideas with enough context that I, having a limited understanding of theory, felt able to keep up and incorporate higher-level concepts into my writing/playing. Can't recommend Wit's classes enough!

Prawit is such an incredible teacher - he structures the lessons to your specific goals, makes sure you understand everything before you move on, and makes it fun! I love the structure he provides, and also the fact that he makes sure to check in as you are progressing. 👏🏼 I highly recommend him as a teacher
