Hi, there! My name is Polly and I LOVE to sew! I have worked over 30 years in the apparel manufacturing business and I can't wait to meet you! I am currently teaching private lessons and have loved helping my students gain confidence and increase their sewing skills. I am big on using industry short-cuts to help you sew faster and more professionally. I went to MTSU and earned a degree in Home Economics/Fashion Merchandising in 1987]. I also obtained a degree in Fashion Design from AIU-Buckhead in 1992 and my MS degree from KSU in Apparel and Product Development. I'm a Fun teacher who will encourage and help you sew projects you can be proud to call your own.

She has vast industry experience and has taught me many industry "tips" that make my garment look and fit better. You won't find these tips in regular "patterns"; as a matter of fact Polly's sequence of constructing garments make so much more sense than the pattern directions!!
She is patient and is up for any challenge! I'm sewing down my fabric stash and am learning new skills with each garment.
I'm even going to learn how to deconstruct my favorite top and construct a pattern for it. How awesome is that????
Whether you have never sewn before or have a little or a lot of experience; Polly can help you reach new levels of expertise and caters to all levels.
My sewing lesson day is my best day of the week and keeps me consistently sewing! It is my treat for myself and so worth it!
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or as a reference for Polly.
She is the best of the best and you will be amazed at how professional your garments will look!! If you have ever wanted to take sewing lessons and want undivided attention; Polly is the teacher for you!!!!
