As a professional concert artist and composer, I have been incredibly fortunate to travel the world, giving concerts in a wide variety of musical styles alongside some truly incredible artists. I am deeply passionate about teaching and the learning process. I truly feel that making art, and especially music - whether as a professional or hobbyist - has profound effect on one's quality of life. It is essential that the learning process be structured and oriented to the individual needs of the learner and that there is regular, marked and ongoing progress. It is the feeling of progress and the experience of learning which gives the fuel and propulsion to inspire making it an act of love and not a burden to practice.
