Upright Bass with Philip N.

I've spent my entire life playing music. I started on the piano at the age of four and have been playing ever since. My second instrument was the french horn which I played for 8 years before switching to the Upright Bass! Both of my parents are professional musicians/teachers so I saw what it takes to be a great musician and a great teacher from their example. I hold a bachelor's degree and am currently completing my master's degree from The Juilliard School. In addition, I've spent the last five years touring the world and playing with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Marcus Roberts, Veronica Swift and many more. I've had the chance to appear on albums and even some movie soundtracks! Out of all this experience, the importance of teaching is something that will always stick with me. Engaging in masterclasses, clinics, and private lessons all over the globe has given me a lot experience working with students of all ages and playing abilities. Teaching is something I've developed a love for over the years and will be something I do for as long as I am playing! Thank you for reading this and I look forward to working with you!!
