I am a cellist, bassist, and composer living in Miami right now studying at the Frost School of Music. I have been heavily involved in both the jazz and classical traditions for the past six years, and I have gleaned a lot of wisdom that I hope to impart on the next generation. I try to be the most compassionate teacher possible, and I pride myself as someone who deeply understands the learning process.
I have spent the last fifteen years building both my classical and jazz repertoire, so I have a great idea of how to build a plan of study for any student of any level. Despite my experience in these two well-established music traditions, I am a massive proponent of listening to and experiencing as many types of music as possible. Once we work through technique, we could get into more contemporary music, or virtually anything that has artistic merit. Learning a musical instrument is incredibly beneficial to the development of the psyche and brain, so I will do everything in my power to keep my students engaged and enjoying the process. I really look forward to working with any and all of you!
