As a professional guitarist and bass player with a degree in music performance from Berklee College of Music, I've toured and performed extensively across the U.S. and Europe, and recorded on numerous records. With over ten years experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, I really strive to help students of any skill level reach their full potential on their instrument. I usually teach through the lens of songwriting and improvisation. I believe that in addition to just learning songs, students should learn what makes a song tick: how is it structured? what kind of music theory does it use? How can a student use what they learn form a song to write their own music? I tailor my lessons to the age and experience of each individual student, and work with the student to constantly readjust lessons as necessary to meet their needs and interests. Lessons with me are always fun and relaxed, but focused. I want to help you get excited about your own increasing ability. If I can inspire you to work hard at your instrument on your own, then I feel like I've really done my job.
