Shakespearean Acting with Peter F.

I am an extensively trained actor with significant experience in everything from Voice and Dialects to Shakespeare to Film/TV and contemporary theater auditions. I am originally from Alexandria, Virginia, and have previously taught at the American Conservatory Theater's Young Conservatory as well as A.C.T.'s Citizen Artist program, where I coached disenfranchised youth in the Bay Area. Given the training I have received from some of the world's top institutions (A.C.T., RADA, Yale, Georgetown), I have a significant breadth of knowledge to offer both as an educator and as an active NYC based actor. Students will be taught to examine all kinds of "ways in" to their work, no matter what we cover, and I will tailor every coaching session to the student's needs, whether that be learning to execute a safe and effective vocal warm up to audition prep to how to unpack the Shakespearean iamb. I will challenge every student to meet their highest potential, and will seek to build upon every lesson with practical advice the student can take forward into any endeavor.
