Pedro A Ariza began his studies with fingerstyle guitar in his native Florence with Professor Duberney Pineda, and starting on classical guitar with professor Luis Eduardo Ortiz. In the city of Cali, he obtained an academic training as a guitar player at the Conservatory of Fine Arts in Cali, studying with teachers Gustavo Nino, Carlos Torres and Marc Jean-Bernard. Guitarist of the Popular School of Music of Cali under the tutelage of the teacher Gustavo Sierra in Colombia, also graduated as professor in the teaching of music with emphasis in guitar at the National University of Costa Rica. He has been a member of the Ensemble of guitars of the Conservatory of Fine Arts of Cali Colombia, has performed as a soloist and performed in groups in different venues in Colombia, Puerto Rico, Florida (USA) and Costa Rica, acting as representative of Colombian music and Different genres of music in the world. As a classical guitarist, he has mastered the repertoire of Renaissance music, baroque, romantic, modern, popular,rock,contemporary and also specialized in Latin American music from Colombia. He has participated in the guitars ensemble of the National University of Costa Rica, in different Costa Rican scenarios and invited to the young festival of Cartago guitar with the Izquier 2 Duo guitar duo. As a distinguished teacher in areas of nylon fingerstyle and classical guitar, musical grammar, musical appreciation, solfeggio, harmony, complementary piano, creator of works, arrangements and original compositions for the guitar. Pedro A. now recently resides in Clearwater FL, and I am interested in transmitting my knowledge and secrets of the guitar interpretation to all lovers of music !
