About Paul S.
I hail from Walla Walla, Washington, home of the "famous" sweet onions. I can't begin to express how much I love languages!! I have studied 8 so far (Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, and Dutch) and I teach 5 (Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Japanese), and want to keep learning new languages throughout the rest of my life. I love to work with students so that's why I've kept my rates low--to make sure more people can have the opportunity to learn these languages. I have a down-to-earth style and I allow my students to guide their own learning in a student-structured, individualized way. As of June 2019, I have taught multiple students different languages, among whom are three students I have been teaching between 7 and 9 months, who have all improved considerably and continue to progress steadily. I am positive I can help you come to understand the wonderful world that is language and to learn how amazing it is to be able to say the same thing in so many different ways, and how much better it is to be able to communicate with someone in his/her native language instead of having to resort to English. Let's do this!!
Note: I have not had any connectivity problems for quite a while now so be assured that I can provide quality instruction with no issues.

Great instructor, very personable and teaches at a good pace. I highly recommend Paul!

Very nice lesson.

Since I'm absolute beginner in Japanese, I found Paul to be the perfect fit for me. If you are young or adult (me) I would highly recommend taking classes with Paul at least for your beginning classes. I'm sure he would be the perfect fit for you too.

I am making amazing progress with Paul as my Instructor! I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to become proficient in Japanese! 5 Stars +!

I've never seen anyone with such a passion and love for languages! I've experienced Paul as a Japanese tutor weekly for many months and he has an amazing grasp of the language and speaks like a native speaker. He gets down on your level and I am very impressed with How he lets you guide the learning at your own pace with a lot of patience an encouragement. Making great progress and excited to learn more! 5 Stars plus!

A lot of connectivity issues on his end and he did not seems to have a pre-planned lesson plan, but by the end he seemed to have started to develop some structure.

Paul has a passion for languages and is a joy to speak French with.

Great Professor! I love Spanish now!
