I've written a review for Paul before, but I would like to write one again! I was an amateur, self-taught guitar player who knew nothing about classical guitar, and I hired Paul to help me prepare for an audition for CSUN's music program. I only had 7 months to get prepare for my audition, and I passed with flying colors! I exceeded their expectations, and it was all thanks to him. Paul is an incredible teacher. He's able to notice such small details and nuances in my playing. He's always able to identify where I'm having problems and knows exactly which pieces and exercises I should play to fix them. When I'm having trouble understanding a concept, he's able to break it down really well into simpler terms. I would highly recommend him for anyone trying to learn at any level.

I'm already a somewhat experienced guitarist, but Paul has been able to help me really hone and refine my skills. He's very skilled at finding areas where I have difficulty and recommending different songs and exercises to help me improve. I've only been receiving lessons for a few months, but I've already learned so much more from him than in the 5 years I've been teaching myself.
