Opera Voice with Paul M.

I am a fourth year student at UNCC studying to get my Bachelors in Vocal Performance. With graduation coming soon I wanted to start working in a music related field. I hadn't taught lessons until last year when I was taking my Vocal Pedagogy class, where we were required to teach eight lessons throughout the duration of the course. As I found a student and we began to work, I realized that I enjoyed teaching these lessons and watching/hearing the progress my student was making. During my time in the UNCC Department of Music I have taken much coursework that I can use while teaching my student, including: 7 semesters of Advanced Voice Lessons 5 levels of Music Theory, 5 levels of Aural skills and Sight Singing, 4 levels of basic piano, 2 levels of Music History, and others. I have sang in/with multiple ensembles, most often being University Chorale and Opera Workshop. I also work as a choral scholar for Holy Comforter Episcopal Church.
