I am a professional tutor who has successfully taught over 2,000 students for the past 19 years in a range of subjects including the SAT, ACT, English, math, college application essays, and writing contests. I graduated Yale, and I have won numerous essay contests. I have helped thousands of students achieve their academic goals. I have increased old SAT scores 300-500 points, new SAT scores 150-300 points, and composite ACT scores 3-6 points. I have raised math and English grades from C’s to B’s and B's to A's. Under my guidance, students have written college application essays that contributed to their acceptances into Yale, UPenn, Cornell, West Point, and dozens of other prestigious universities. For a select few well-read students, I have coached them to win a variety of writing contests including the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Through classes or private lessons, I connect with students, motivate them to dream bigger and work harder, pinpoint areas of improvement, utilize proven methods, and above all, get results. I live in northern New Jersey. My better half is Jeanette, and I have three beautiful children.

I went to Peak for about a year, from 8th grade to 9th grade and Paul was the best tutor I ever had. Not only did he teach us how to write well, but also gave us many of his life inspiring quotes that really motivated us students to always work hard. He gave a lot of advice that still helps me today in both writing and life. Going to Peak helped me to enjoy studying a lot more than I did and definitely improved my grade overall.

I have been working with Paul for a little over a year now and with his help, I have accomplished more than I ever imagined. He not only helped me with difficult math classes such as AP Calculus AB and standardized tests like the SAT but also helped me to become a better student overall. Paul also helped me with college applications and decisions which I really found helpful in deciding where I should apply. Paul is an amazing tutor not only for how much he is versatile between different subjects, whether it be AP Calculus to SAT to college essays, but also to how much he cares about your health and wellbeing. With my time working with him, Paul is someone who I can rely on for good advice and look up to.
