My name is Paul, and it would be my honor to assist you actualize your potential.
I specialize in instructing, motivating, and organizing serious students and professionals who are pursuing the challenges of mathematics.
Improving lives through mathematical awareness is my mission!
I take pride in my work, and strive to guide my students toward new opportunities in school, business, and in life.
Why I Am Qualified:
I have been helping people get ahead, catch up, improve grades, and increase confidence for over 11 years. During this time, I have been fortunate enough to work with a variety of students ranging from 4th graders to graduate students to industry professionals. Regardless of background, we set realistic goals, and make a game plan to realize those goals.
My educational training is in math and science. In fact, in 2013, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics. Also, last year, I worked with over 70 students! (References available upon request.)
My Teaching Style:
I believe in hard work and simple solutions.
I also believe that, as a customer, YOU DESERVE LESSONS THAT ARE MEANINGFUL TO YOU. To that end, I relate new mathematical concepts to familiar ones from your daily life. The world of mathematics is all around us.
Through my own success, I have learned the importance of setting goals in the pursuit of excellence. At the beginning of our first lesson, we will discuss short term, as well as long term goals. Typical short term goals are improving grades or scores, and acing a particular class. Long term goals might include one or more of the following: getting into the school of your choice, earning a degree/promotion, and being confident in your skills as an industrious problem solver!

My duties include collaborating with students and professionals in quantitative problem solving, coordinating departmental initiatives, networking, marketing, active recruiting.

The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) is a professional society that focuses on mathematics accessible at the undergraduate level. Members include university, college, and high school teachers; graduate and undergraduate students; pure and applied mathematicians; computer scientists; statisticians; and many others in academia, government, business, and industry.
