- Teaches students:
- Ages 12+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
I am a professional graphic artist. I graduated from Pennsylvania State College with a Bachelors of Science, specifically in design.
Students can expect to improve week to week in their design and software technique. Every designer has a unique creativity; I teach students to release their artistic skills and apply foundational computer software techniques in order to unlock their own individual light. I can help any student to use InDesign with efficient skill, confidence, and imagination.
I have taught design students of all different ages and experience levels. I studied architecture and graphic for 7 years. I can teach students to read design with imagination and pursue technical excellence using keyboard shortcuts, to learn how to create books, brochures, portfolios, magazines, cards, web and more; both depending on the goals and preference of the individual student.
As a professional graphic artist I have worked for Disney, The Getty Art Museum and Weird Al Weird Al Yankovic. I love to mentor students who want to become effective, powerful designers.
My personal passion is contemporary art and figure drawing, but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting up with you and directing you to become a better commercial artist!
