Italian with Patrizia G.

Ciao! My name is Patrizia, and I’m originally from Firenze in Italy. I currently live between Florida, UK and Italy, where I teach Italian to English speakers. I enjoy teaching my language and learning new things from my students, experiencing new cultures. I love pass you on nuances, I enjoy teaching the real Italian, the one spoken in Italy, and discover the differences with the one written on books. I do not have a degree, I have lots of experience teaching the language. I have been running up to 8 classes in adult education, covering any level from beginner to advanced. I'm a real person and I understand very well the weak points (i had to go trough them when learning English) and I know how to overcome them. My teaching style? Tailor made! I teach the Italian that is relevant to YOU and what you want to achieve. We will have fun during our lessons, but we will also work hard to achieve your goals. Learning a language is like an orchestra, it works with several instruments. Therefore, not only grammar, but also vocabulary, listening (ouch!) and speaking with a nice pronunciation. Listening exercises, yes, they are very important for your future ability of interacting with Italians. I will also explain the Italian grammar in English, unless you are at an advanced level.
