Hi! My name is Patrick. I have been playing the guitar for 16 years and teaching private lessons since 2007. I play in a few musical groups here in the cities, and teach group band and orchestra instruments to 3rd-5th graders for Saint Paul Public Schools. I have a bachelors in music from the University of Saint Thomas and a passion for teaching! Over the years I've enjoyed teaching my students everything from rock and roll to finger style and classical guitar. Learn the fundamentals of musical reading, learn to jam out on your favorite tunes, or just brush up on your skills! Experience teaching all ages.

Everyone learns differently, Its my job to build lesson plans to fit each individual student's learning style and interests. If you aren't having fun, I'm not doing my job!

My oldest son has always been very interested in music. I enrolled him in guitar lessons with Patrick and I'm really impressed with my son's progress. Patrick is professional and my son loves his lessons with Patrick. I recommend taking lessons from Patrick if you want someone who is both knowledgeable and easy to work with!

I started taking lessons with Patrick as a beginner and will forever be thankful for the knowledge and skills that he gave to me. Beyond being an amazing guitarist and teacher, Patrick is a great guy who will make sure you're not only learning and progressing but also enjoying the process. He also makes great music recommendations, I swear he showed me half the music I listen to today. I would recommend Patrick to anyone, I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to guitar.

Pat is an awesome teacher- he's a true student of music. it was really cool to have a teacher with such a wide range of music interests. Pat helped me out with some folk stuff I was really interested in, but I was just so impressed by his music knowledge. Definitely appreciated his patience and willingness to give some helpful hints and tricks. Pat got me from the point where I could play, to now, I can play and have fun with it!
