• Instructed students representing a wide range of abilities and ages in electric, acoustic and bass guitar as well as ukulele • Roster is comprised of approximately 25 students who are taught on a weekly or biweekly basis • Construct and implement a musical curriculum for individual students: create a personalized learning experience for nearly 30 people • Compile supplementary materials for each student based on their individual needs; such materials can include transcriptions and/or compositions of instrumental parts, transpositions of instrumental parts and arrangements, and lead sheets • Communicate with parents and students in order to facilitate the student’s progress • Organize and promote quarterly recitals for all students

• Organize and teach up to five student rock bands in three separate sessions: Fall, Winter and Spring • Recruit student performers at the junior high, high school and adult level: each band required vocalists, multiple guitarists, keyboardist and a bass player • Collaborate with students in order to form a set list that challenges each participant and introduces them to new music and artists • Obtain or create sheet music and lyric sheets for the songs selected by each student band: music must include individual parts for each performer • Facilitate communication between band members in order to schedule rehearsals • Lead practices in a way that ensures each student’s comprehension
