Greetings Prospective Students,
I would like to be your future Piano Teacher. I am very patient and kind and can help you learn to play with ease as you study the piano keys. I studied piano for 4 years at the Barbour Music Studio, Washington, DC and completed a refresher piano course with the Music Department, at the University of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC. I play piano for the Sunday School Department at my church and I have taught numerous students piano and music theory at my residence in Washington, DC over the past 15 years.

Greetings Prospective Students,
As students advance through the various pages of music, after 3 months the student should be mid-way through the music book, able to play comfortably with their left and right hand, and able to play a selection with practice from memory. The first lesson will be the study of lines and space, fingering of the proper notes, counting the music notes, learning the whole, half, and quarter notes, which are outlined in the front of the Michael Aaron Piano Course, Book One.
The future lessons consist of being assigned a new music song once the previous song has been musically counted and music notes properly played . At the end of the piano lesson, I present the student with a piano pencil as a token of encouragement in learning to play the piano. A syllabus will be provided outlining the various music assignments and the scales to be practiced, such as: A major, B major, C major.
When the student has completed the first book, a piano recital can be planned to show family and friends their acquired music skills. I hope to hear from you soon, students. To begin your music experience, please reach out to me when your schedule permits for your piano lesson. Thank You.
