Hello! I am a professional musician and guitar/ukulele instructor with over 20 years experience teaching one on one and group lessons. As a child, while learning piano and playing trumpet in the school band I began teaching myself guitar. It quickly became my favorite instrument and I moved on to formal lessons including a 5 year stint with the esteemed jazz guitarist and instructor Vic Juris. I currently teach over 30 students (aged 7 to 73!) year-long in my studio and direct two student rock ensembles at that studio. I am the founder/director of the guitar/bass program at the prestigious Mt Tabor Summer Band Camp in NJ teaching students aged 9-17 and conducting the beginner, intermediate and advanced ensembles. I am going into my 12th season there and am very proud of my contributions to this 64 year institution. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I can teach all styles: rock, jazz, blues, country, finger-style and classical to all levels from beginner to advanced. I truly love my work and seek to make my students lessons enjoyable and fun. I treat each student as a unique individual and form my lesson plans based on their specific needs, goals and learning style. I look forward to meeting you and teaching you in this exciting new format.
