About Patricia R.

Hi future students. I'm excited to meet you and get you playing the guitar, since it is by far the coolest and most fun instrument. I started playing when I was 9 from private instructors in Massachusetts. I perform with classical guitar at wedding ceremonies, at church, and other functions. For fun I sometimes join an Irish session group in Denton. Parents, I used to teach in the public schools so I am fingerprinted in both CT and IL, and background checked. You are welcome to sit in on your child's lesson.

The Chicago Classical Guitar Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to the classical guitar. The society serves as a means of communication among guitarists throughout the Chicago area and the Midwest. CCGS publishes a newsletter “Chicago Guitar,” and sponsors recitals, master classes, evaluated recitals, lectures, and other events on topics of interest to classical and flamenco guitarists.
