Acoustic Guitar with Parris M.

I have been teaching guitar for over 11 years and have experience with playing in bands live on stage and recording music in recording studios. I am a certified audio engineer and understand what it takes to get the best performance and sound quality of each student I teach. While I ensure that we learn the foundations of music and guitar playing, I still want to make the experience fun by learning different techniques and by adapting lessons around songs and music that my students WANT to play! I find that students are more likely to stick with it and progress if they are playing songs that excite them! I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and I have an MBA from Western Governor's University. I currently work as a project manager for a software company, so I know how to manage projects, including guitar lessons, and I work very well with others. And my family will probably tell you that I can be quite the goofball at times!
