    About Parisa B.

I am an Iranian actor, director, and playwright. I started my acting career from the Samandarian acting school in Tehran/Iran. After my immigration to the US in 2008, I started my academic curriculum in acting at Santa Monica College of Los Angles, after which she transferred to the University of Maryland where I received my B.A. in theatre. I then completed my MFA in acting with a concentration on directing at Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA. During my performing career in comedy and drama, I have developed a keen interest in playwriting, acting, as well as directing experimental theater, for which I self-produced a series of independent productions, mostly in my native tongue. In 2018, I moved to Massachusetts to continue my work as an actor, director, and instructor in the Boston area. I have taught several acting classes in different age groups, for instance, middle school students, in College Park Academy of Maryland, as well as adults, in the Iranian Association of Boston and Cambridge Center for Adult Education. Prior to becoming an actor, I have also been an instructor for Persian Literature and Arabic Language in my home country, Iran.
