My name is Paolo Perez. I'm a New York based pianist who's just as at home in a formal theater pit as I am playing air guitar on stage in a one piece jumpsuit and an Aladdin Sane bolt painted on my face. At little about me, I've worked and performed primarily in musical theater for the last ten years in my capacity as Music Director at various houses throughout the Northeast. Most recently I had the distinct pleasure of closing a production of Grease at the United Nations International School, a year of monthly shows with HQ's Anna Roisman at Caroline’s Comedy Club, and a bittersweet departure from my nearly 3 years as Music Director for the classic rock tribute group - The Rock and Roll Playhouse
In a session with me, you'll explore more than how to simply sing or play the notes that are on the page. We'll go over how to become a compelling story teller, why it's important to find variety within your piece, and how to do that. Whether you're an aspiring professional looking for fine fine tuning, or a beginner who has always wanted to perform that one certain song, feel free to reach out and let me know how I can help you become a better musician. Hope to speak with you soon!

I'm a freelance musician whose journey of helping others find their voices started long before I began to sing. Raised in a family of holistic healers, I've worked to combine the restorative qualities of music with his work as Reiki Practitioner in an effort to inject laughter and light in everything I do. New York credits include Grease (United Nations International School), Revival Show (Caroline’s Comedy Club) and Music Direction for the Rock and Roll tribute group - The Rock and Roll Playhouse, the Radio Theater adaptation of Muppet Shop of Horrors, and music Music Direction/keyboards for Rockaway Theater Company (Dolly Parton’s 9-5, La Cage Aux Folles, and Pippin). I'm a proud mentor with EPIC Players (EpicPlayersNYC.Org) a neuro-inclusive theater company who provide professional opportunities and free workshops to actors living with developmental disabilities. I'm also a frequent collaborator with many comedy groups throughout the city. Stay up to date with my projects by following me on Instagram @TheRealPCP.
