Panagiota did a wonderful job with my 11 year old daughter. She is a beginning violin student that wanted some extra help while school is out. We have signed up to take weekly lessons with her as my daughter was extremely happy with the lesson.

I started lessons with Panagiota as an adult with zero expectations. After completing a year of lessons with her, what I’ve been able to accomplish has far exceeded my expectations. Panagiota is always patient, kind, and encouraging. She always helps point out when I might be developing a bad habit or my timing is slightly off. I’m now learning second position and am on Suzuki Book 3. Panagiota is a phenomenal teacher and if you apply a strong work ethic, I say anything is possible under her tutelage :)

Dr Kalantzi is very patient and instructive. She always encourages and challenges. I have been taking lessons for three years and have learned so much from her. She tries to tailor her lessons to the musical tastes of the student to keep you engaged in the lessons. Dr Kalantzi is a wonderful instructor!

Dr. Kalantzi has been an amazing teacher. I started lessons with her in the fall of 2013 when I turned 59 years old. I was a beginner with hearing aids. I knew when I decided to take lessons that I was no virtuoso and was somewhat uncoordinated. I started with Suzuki book 1 and had the scratchiest sounding bowing. She has taught me so many things since then. I am now in Suzuki book 5, am playing selections from the Henle edition of Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas, an am about to start learning the 6th position. She is even teaching me music theory. This old dog has learned many new tricks from her.

As an adult learner of violin, I can't imagine a better teacher! Panagiota is very patient, knowledgeable and encouraging. She will take her time and help you with any technique that you might be struggling with. And improvement is a guarantee! If you have always wanted to learn violin, have no fear, with Panagiota it is very enjoyable. 🙂

I am an older beginning cello student with a life-long desire to play the cello but with no formal music training. I am so fortunate to have Dr. Kalantzi for my instructor. Her infinite knowledge, patience, humor, enthusiasm, and positive attitude keep me encouraged.

My son started playing Viola in school and took a likening to it. Orchestra class was learning how to play Star Spangled Banner. Listening to him practice I felt he could be great. My son has been taking lessons with Dr. Kalantzi since June 2018. She has been an awesome instructor. I have heard lots of improvement in many of the the songs he practices. He has participated on stage for the concert series with confidence. Dr. Kalantzi has been an very helpful at guiding and teaching my son to be his very best at viola. We look forward to practice every week.

As an older beginning cello player, I found the perfect instructor in Dr. Kalantzi! She teaches with extreme patience and compassion. Her expertise and humor contribute to quality time of instruction in an enjoyable atmosphere. Dr. Kalantzi is flexible in acommendating all of her students schedules from making more time for them to prepare for auditions to accepting students into her schedule after time away. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Dr. Kalantzi and some of her culture. If you want to become a better string player or start from scratch, I highly recommend her!

Dr. Kalantzi has been an excellent instructor for my daughter. We have been taking lessons from her for several years. She is very personable and patient with my daughter, knows how to motivate her and make each lesson (and homework) fun, and continues to look for ways to help her improve. I would recommend Dr. Kalantzi for anyone new to violin as well as for more seasoned musicians.

I have been taking lessons from Panagiota for over two years, and that has been the best decision I've made as an adult. I bought 6 weeks of lessons initially, but after spending a few of them with Panagiota, I knew I wanted to continue to be her student. Her patience, understanding, humor, and knowledge is unmatched in any other music teacher I've had. She listens to her students and adjusts her lessons accordingly.

She is a fantastic teacher, and I sincerely recommend her to any string student.
