I am very experienced working with children and teens. I have been a credentialed art teacher/ therapist for many years. I believe that making art is a joyful experience and can open up creative self expression. Plus, its fun! I love sketching, doodling, painting, and mixed media. I have a private practice as an art therapist (specializing in children with special needs and autism), but I can put on my instructor hat and focus on skill building in drawing, painting and mixed media. I love to help students create their own unique style and I do not judge or critique harshly, but gently show students the steps involved.
