WHO IS ROY G. BV??  While most of my 30 years of experienced has been in baking and pastry, I have a BFA in painting, and realized early on that understanding the color wheel and color relationships has helped create decorated pastries that WOW customers.  In this class you will learn the uses of primary, secondary, tertiary colors, as well as the harmonies of complementary, analogous colors, and their values.  If you are a young painter, cake or cookie decorator, or even want to update the wall colors in your house, this is for you!

I have enjoyed a career as an executive baker for over 25 years, and owned a bakery, little Bigs in Portland, Maine, for 6 years.  Being chosen for the Coupe de Monde baking competition in Paris was a highlight of my career, as well as working with many world-famous chefs and bakers.  

Teaching is my joy -- when I teach I learn all over again, and I am committed to passing on what I know and techniques that I have learned through the years.

Pamela has twin strengths that contribute to an excellent class experience in my opinion.  First of all, she has strong teaching skills and can instruct and guide a wide variety of individuals of varying levels of ability, age and background. This is more important than may be apparent - no one gets short changed.  Secondly, she is one of the most creative people I know. She also has exquisite taste so the products she creates, whether it's a tart or a painting are in a class all their own.  Highly recommended!
