I am currently a first-year graduate student at the University of South Carolina studying piano pedagogy with Scott Price. Previously, I received piano pedagogy and performance instruction from Dr. Tian Tian of Oakland University. My private piano training began at the age of five in Shelby Township. Since then, I've earned top ratings from various music organizations. I also made an appearance playing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major, k. 488 with the Oakland University Chamber Orchestra, and was a finalist in the Oakland Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Students under my tutelage find that they learn quickly and can see their improvement from week to week. Students gain more confidence in their abilities and are excited to learn more constantly. They are able to play/write/create/understand music they love, as well as understand music from a more holistic, worldly perspective. My lessons are specifically geared towards your needs as a student. I am currently offering online lessons. In-home lessons only offered to those students within a small radius: those living in Cayce East of 12th street, North of Frink Street, and South of Blossom Street may be considered for in-home lessons. When I teach, I encourage creativity and an excitement to learn. I look forward to meeting you and helping you unlock your potential in music!
