Math with Ozzie L.

Greetings students and hobbyists! My name is Ozzie. I have an M.A. in math from CSU Fullerton (I graduated in '14). I have about 10 years of experience tutoring math and about 2 years of teaching math. I have also played guitar for about 15 years. I have been playing in a church choir for about 10 years. I have taken classical and jazz guitar classes, but I'm also familiar with funk, blues, pop/rock, bossa nova, Spanish music, and more. I teach online or in my home. With guitar, I can help you get beyond your beginner guitar skills by applying scales, chord knowledge, rhythm, and developing your ear to the music you love most. I can create a program of study specific to your needs and interests. With math, I can help you break through any perplexing concept. I'll go beyond mere theory and formulas to connect the topic at hand with more relatable situations. Making the numbers and symbols come alive is vital to gain deeper insight. I teach elementary, middle school, or college math. I have helped students with subjects in algebra, college algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, SAT math, or any other standardized test.
