My father was a professional guitarist. I grew up with the sounds of music in my house. I credit this environment for helping me understand music in a way that would be near impossible if I had any other way. I hold a bachelors degree in music performance from the University of Southern Maine. I have been performing professionally for 13 years and teaching professionally for 10. I regularly performed in the bands that play jazz, blues, and rock, with the ability to perform country, classical, and many more! I teach lessons from ages 8 and up. Currently, my studio ranges from ages 8 to 60. My students are studying everything from Jimi Hendrix to Miles Davis to Tool to Ariana Grande!
