I am a classical guitarist finishing my senior year at California State University San Bernardino with a degree in Guitar Performance under Stuart Green. I've been playing guitar since the end of middle school, and it wasn't until recently (persuaded by Stuart) that I considered further improving my performance skills in order to pass on my skills to other guitar students or enthusiasts. I am currently preparing for my senior recital, which is on March 7th at CSUSB and includes the Bach Suite in E Major BWV 1006a.
I'm a very relaxed person, but I get very excited when it comes to music, so if you share this love for music, then let's start playing!
ALSO, although I am getting my undergraduate degree in performance, I plan on continuing my music education by attending grad school under composition. I studied theory at Riverside Community College under Steven Schmidt and am now under Dr. Allen Menton at CSUSB. I am a music theory freak! And I analyze scores for fun. Therefore, I can teach that quite well for anyone interested.
Oscar always showed enthusiasm to anyone who was interested in learning guitar. Even in high school I would see him teaching people to play guitar. This is a good man with pure intentions. He is very patient and understanding. In my opinion he is a great teacher and even greater person. But don't take my word for it go and meet him yourself. You won't be disappointed.+ Read More
