Oriana received her Bachelor of Art in Vocal Performance from the University of California, Los Angeles where she was granted a full scholarship.
She has studied piano since the age of six and has accompanied for many choirs around Los Angeles. She has studied violin since the age of 9 and is an active chamber music and studio musician. Oriana has extensive experience as a private teacher. She strongly believes in music being a form of expression for everyone and has worked to serve underserved communities as a Teaching Artist with The Harmony Project as well as with The Symphonic Jazz Orchestra.
As a singer, Oriana was most recently, the soprano soloist for Vaughan William’s Dona Nobis Pacem in Royce hall. Oriana has been a featured soprano soloist for Orff's Carmina Burana with the UCLA Philharmonia and Choral Union in Royce Hall and for the Palm Springs Opera Guild. She made her Zipper Hall debut in 2016 with The Opera Buffs. She has performed under the batons of Neal Stulberg, Christopher Ocasek, Grant Gershon and Gustavo Dudamel. She has an upcoming performance as the soprano soloist for Orff's Carmina Burana in April 2018 with the Long Beach Camerata Singers.
