I've played Music all my life, first teaching myself, then pursuing private instruction on various instruments, then completing a BA in Music in 2009 focusing on flute. I really enjoy passing on the knowledge I've acumulated over the years and seeing students grow and develop their own relationship with Music. I also have a graduate degree in the field of education and draw many instructional techniques and approaches from classroom-instruction. I believe strongly in a personalized, student-centered, approach to teaching and a lot of positive reinforcement to encourage growth.
