Sing Without Cracking with the Help of this High-Rated Instructor

Let's find your voice! I'm a professional singer with over 20 years of experience. I've been teaching voice for many years based on methods and education that I've acquired in New York City, London and Tel Aviv! I've travelled and performed in over 50 countries and 5 continents and featured in venues like Lincoln Center and Radio City. I teach Pop singers, Broadway singers and also Singer-Songwriters. I also teach audition prep, acting through a song and mic technique. Whether you're just starting to find your voice or you're ready to take over the world, I'm here to help you do it! For online lessons- We will concentrate on building your singing technique through breathing, keeping a good posture and maintaining support in order to get those beautiful notes out while protecting your vocal cords. In house lessons can also include microphone techniques (both for live shows and studio recordings), preparing for auditions and working on delivering a show stopping performance. For traveling- I can bring a portable keyboard, unless you have a piano at home that you'd like for me to use. I'm always here if you have any questions and will always be happy to help. Feel free to reach out!

Omer is amazing. I was crying in our first lesson because of how self-conscious I was about my singing, but his warmth, reassurance, and sense of humour helped me relax, which made a world of difference for my sound. He immediately understood my goals for my voice, and gave me things to do that helped me progress really quickly. It was also great to have a teacher who knew Jewish music, which is a big chunk of what I sing, and could help me work on songs in Hebrew.

Omer is a very friendly and helpful teacher who addressed my very specific needs perfectly. With the issues that I had difficulty understanding, he broke them down into helpful examples that made it much easier to understand. He also has an amazing personality and is very enthusiastic about the topic he was teaching. Thanks again and I look forward to our next lessons together.

    The Voice College

    Aug, 2020

The Voice College was founded in 2001 by Ria Keen, and was known as VIDLA from then up until April 2016. It was Ria's dream to create a college that could train singing teachers and singers to a very high standard, after years of teaching students who had come to her from other coaches, complaining that they had learned nothing in return for spending a small fortune on lessons. She believed then, as now, that singing teachers should be properly trained and qualified, and should not rely on just 'passing on what they know' without benefit of proper research or - as is the case for so many - any teacher-training whatsoever. Another core belief of the college is that singers need to do more than just open their mouths and hope for the best if they want to develop or preserve a voice that will serve them through a long-term career.

    Jan, 2017

Actors' Equity Association, founded in 1913, is the labor union that represents more than 49,000 Actors and Stage Managers in the United States. Equity seeks to advance, promote and foster the art of live theatre as an essential component of our society.
